Why Hello There... 

It has been a few days. I am sorry for that. I have been going through some major life decisions for health reasons. They have been kind of rough. I have six weeks to make up my mind, that will change my life forever... 

However Friday IS my BIRTHDAY!!!! Yay! 

I have also Picked up a second job again, so I am working 7 days a week. I work 45 hours a week at my corporate job, and I am working 16-20 hours on the weekends, Plus attending school online for at least 5 hours each week!   Not to mention having a life, spending time with the man, and the Furchild! 

So If I am Missing in Action from time to time, I am sorry. I will try to not be but don't hold me to it! 

So Since I am making up for lost time...  

As of this point I have two February birthday's in my family down... Only 2,465,179 left to go.... Seriously, there are 21 Birthdays in my family in the month of February... HOLY penguins!  :) 

Today is a sad day in history.... 

Shirley Temple, the actress died today at age of 85.

Life & Adventures In It....

Busy.... 

This is the word that we often think of when talking to other people, or when we have things to do, or even the excuse that people make to get out of doing projects, events, or just things in general. 

I have always been one to keep myself occupied. Most of the time I have had at least two jobs going at once. So yes, I rarely have time for myself... but I have also never really known different. 

So I guess this really shouldn't come as a shocker, however I am doing my normal 50-60 hours at my corporate job, plus I have been working shifts at one of the hotels to pick up hours. Normally this would not be an issue. However, I have decided to make myself smart, and I am trying to go back to school on top of all of this. This past week I worked normal, plus 5 shifts at the hotel, on top of a minimum of 5 hours spent dedicated to online classes! YIKES! 

I am also trying to maintain the appearance of my so called humble home, and of course, give my undivided attention and love to this child of mine...

Plus trying to keep up on my relationship with my boyfriend, and have a social life somewhere in between. So you may be asking what is the point and where is she getting at with the rambling? 

My point is, no matter how busy life gets, make time to stop and smell the roses, take time see friends and family, make time to do things for you! 

I have had to learn, If you don't say no, then everyone will just abuse and use you to do their work for them. I need sleep, and I need R&R time as much as everyone else. 

So I hope that you can step away from social media, TV, blogs, books and life and enjoy the good things in life! I promise you that it will be worth every penny!

Things have been really busy with me. I have two posts in the works to explain more about it... and I am excited. I feel that 2014 will be a good year for me. 2013 was nothing but poopies! :)

Holiday Festive Friday...

Hello Lovelies... 

Today is the Secret Santa Reveal.... that beautiful Allie  had came up with... 

Now as of today, I still haven't received my secret Santa gift... However I sent mine, and she has shared about it! 

I had the pleasure of gifting to beautiful Heather! I know she's in warm weather country, but I wanted to give her "winter goodies", I mean after all what girl doesn't like things you can pamper your self with?! 

GO over and make sure you check her blog out... I have been spying reading from afar, and now I can officially follow!  

Other than the secret Santa swap, I'm sorry I have been quiet this week. Things have been really crazy at work. I have some major deadlines coming up that I need to get pushed out. 

Not to mention the whole body hating me thing has been miserable... So seriously... anyone wanna sell me a kidney for Christmas...? I will be forever grateful... 

I found out my IC is back in full force as I try to partake in the festive activities and well... My body is not liking it... But it's Happy Friday, So more on this later... 

I have a busy weekend ahead with Decorating the man's family tree tonight, our tree hunting tomorrow, and a hockey game! (YAYYY!) and Sunday Cookie making, Gift wrapping, and maybe shopping... Oh boy... 

Wish me luck that I have a semi normal weekend! I hope you all have a good weekend, and remember as your out there preparing for holiday festivities the real reason of Christmas is not the gifts we give.... More the Memories and true meaning of it! 

Tidbit Tuesday... Did You Know?

Happy Tuesday Everyone!  I love random Tidbit Tuesday... There's no rhyme or reason to what I have to say! 

• The high for the temperature is Low teens and the Low this week I think is 4 Degrees... but we also have wind... So it's Bitter. 
• I have some big work presentations at the end of this week, But I am hoping to recap my NYC trip soon, since its almost been a month since I left... Man where did time go?
• I am ECSTATIC for Ham's Grandma and Aunt to come to town this weekend from Seattle! 
• I am loving my not so little  Red doggy and his personality! 
• I almost have all my Christmas shopping done except for three Stocking sufferer's and One main gift! 
•  I love Christmas music, and I'm glad my coworker does to! 
• I am glad I got one last look at fall... The snow is arriving daily soon... I can hold on to fall for a few more seconds... Right?

Grateful to live in a place with all seasons...

Day 7: 

What is your dream job and why?

I would have to say I'm Pretty sure I have my dream job for the moment! I get to talk to people all day, I work inside so I don't have to deal with seasonal changes in weather, or climates. I get to travel, and represent my company on occasion.  I don't have to deal with crazy boss's, or co workers. I can take time of for Doctor appointments and such with out worrying. 

I love it. I love the hospitality way of doing things, Making people happy and helping them build good and warm memories. 

I do have to say we do have crazies(Some hotel owners/ operators you meet) and the joys of being in an industry that is open 365 days a year 24 hours a day, however Its really not that bad. 

So with this being said. I love my job, it is my dream job that fits me for the time frame of life that I am in.

• This Week I am hating LOVING my job. Not only in less than 6 days will I be on a business trip. But My boss's are amazing! Co worker and I got treated to a nice lunch at a local restaurant for mellow down time...

• My Man... I can't say thank you to him enough this week for sticking by me. I love him to pieces. 
• The fact that we may get snow tomorrow...   

 

• Thanksgiving is around the corner.

It's Finally Friday!!!

 I can't believe how fast this week has gone by! It was nice, however a lot has happened this week! 

I have gotten the approval for a site to place a IC Support group meeting in my local area, since the one that was here, has moved! I can't express how happy this is making me this week. Most of us with IC feel so lonely, broken, tattered, and unwanted. This all comes from the fact that people in general have these opinions about us: 

• We don't look sick, so therefore we must be fine
• It's all in your head 
• A bladder disease can't be that serious
• Not enough awareness so, some doctors think your PSYCHO, or just don't believe it
• Mostly people don't understand or can't relate, if you tell someone you have cancer, then they get it, but IC isn't like that. Its rare, and that's part of the issue.

I understand that majority of people don't think this way, however it happens, and someone new with IC can go through hell for the first few months. So I want to make a difference, I want to be different and help! Not only am I listed at both my specialist's office and my family doc's office as a IC  Mentor and they know they can give my digits out to people who want a ear to listen or just for advice... So this first thing this week has been huge! Now to make flyers... Errr I'm not very artsy so we will see! Wish me luck! 

Second, I have realized we have less than 10 weeks until Christmas, and I have not started Shopping. I realize that is a long ways away, but I would still like to start, so I'm brainstorming ideas! However, I will wait until Thanksgiving to play Christmas music! 

Third, I can't wait for my work trip that I announced earlier this week! I am so lucky to have a job I love doing, and I get to travel as well. This will be my second big trip this year with the company, and third in the year I have been with them!!! 

Lastly, It's date night, and menu planning night! So I will post my menu for this next week this weekend, and well let's say I'm SOOOO happy that it's fall and Crock pot season!

What I'm Loving Wednesday<3 

I'm {LOVING}.... The fact that I found out yesterday I get to go on a business trip for work to New York and New Jersey!  I will be there over a week! I am hoping to site see, I for sure want to go to Central Park, Times square, Statue of Liberty, and the list goes on and on! I may be dreaming, after all I am going for work. However a girl can dream right?! 

I'm {LOVING}.... The fact that it is gorgeous this time of the year here! I live in a place where we have all four seasons! 

I'm {LOVING}....  My little  big furchild is filling out, getting big, and has such a personality! 

I'm {LOVING}.... Interstital Cystitis got about 6 minutes of fame on The Doctors TV show yesterday! No Joke!!!!! There are two Segments but here are the videos! Check it out! Start with this one...  Then this one! The girl that did this is amazing to get it out there, I have been in her shoes having those same surgeries, and well its scary! Please go watch this so you have some what of a Glimpse of what I am talking about! 

 I'm {LOVING}....The fact that I have an amazing group of close friends, family, and boyfriend that support me through anything! I haven't been feeling the greatest, and well the man has been really great with slack that I have been leaving behind. He always makes me feel better and so loved.  The fact that two of my best friends are as excited as I am for my trip... one even wants to go with me in my suit case! (Sorry girl, Ya ain't gonna fit! :( )

SHES BACK!

Sorry for the almost week long break. (ok a week long break) This week has been kind of crazy. I got my hours reduced at work on friday, I am loving spending more time with Ham(happened before hours got cut), had lots of doctors appointments, and other finishing up meetings.

I am not worried about my hours cut, I have been on the job hunt all week and well If my company thinks Im too bubbly, and personalble, and cant handle me then they dont deserve me. I am a good, hard working employee and I can promise that it will always be that way.

I have been in alot of pain. But I kind of expected it, due to stress makes me hurt worse cause my body cant heal and everything works twice as hard and fast to rebuild when stressed.

Sunday I was making dinner and Ham came in the door with....

He is sooooooooo sweet and good to me! He said that since I had a bad week, and had been hurting he just wanted to make me feel better and that he loves me... I am such a lucky girl! I feel blessed, and as if for once in my life something is going right. Ham and I have not really had a fight, or argument, We find alot of things in common for interests, and such. He treats me so well. It's hard to believe that we have almost been together for a year...

This week is planned to job hunt it out, and find something soon! I plan to work out some more, and keep things going!
