Weekend Recap!
Is it me or did it seem like this weekend went by way to fast? Seriously, though it may have been the fact that something was going on every day this weekend!
One. Friday the man and I had a date at the Chiefs game. I will admit it is the one sport I go crazy for... Not to mention my voice being raw when we left because the REF's can't do their job... The guy behind me agreed. After intermission we both, oddly enough not planned, yelled "Hey Ref's, don't quit your day jobs!", Seriously they sucked. however we still won 4-2! Yay, for first game of the year with the man... many more to come.
Two. Oddly enough date night on Friday was a mark of the third season that the man and I have been going. Our first date blind set up, was a hockey game! So they kinda our known for being a regular thing for us! But I am happy, as we start this season, which I think we can win, also the fact that this means another anniversary for the man and I is slowly creeping up on us!
Three. Saturday was a good day, I spent the morning deep cleaning, and winterizing the house. The man was out hunting, and its probably one of the last good weekends before snow flies... So I scrubbed everything top to bottom, on the inside. I also spent part of my morning menu planning. Saturday afternoon we grocery shopped! I came in under budget for this month! I was planning $300.00 and came in at $285! I wont need groceries (except milk) until near Thanksgiving! I am so happy!
Four. Saturday night, we had the Man's parents over for dinner, instead of us at their house. It was nice, and is a rare occurrence to have people over! We had a delicious dinner and watched a movie!
Five. Sunday I started window shopping for Christmas Ideas, and looking for things to take to NYC! The countdown is on... Less than Two WEEKS and this girl is on the EAST coast! Yes,... Caps because I am so excited, but yet so nervous!
Six. I am cookin' up some ideas for the IC awareness group that I am trying to start... I will share more when the pen is to the paper!
